Prof. Dr. Kresten Lindorff-Larsen

University of Copenhagen, Denmark

The Lindorff-Larsen group is located in the Linderstrøm-Lang Centre for Protein Science in Copenhagen. Our research aims to understand the relationship between structure, function and dynamics of biomolecules including both proteins and RNA. We mainly use computational methods, often integrated with NMR and other biophysical and biochemical experiments, to study biomolecular structure and dynamics. A key interest is to develop and apply methods for how to integrate molecular dynamics simulations with experiments. We also have an interest in folding processes, how protein variation causes disease, and how changes to protein sequences cause drug resistance in viruses.
