Since the first days of the Covid19-NMR Project we are in very good contact with Bruker. They kindly offered measurement time in Bruker Facilities and support in maintenance of our own spectrometers . They also supply equipment and offer analysis software. The Covid19-NMR Consortium really benefits from this collaboration and we are happy to have Bruker as a strong partner.
In the Bruker webinar we also had the chance to present the Covid19-NMR network and some of the results to a very large audience. Dr. Christian Richter and Dr. Anna Wacker gave a talk focussed on RNA results and showed biochemical background, the NMR assignment strategy and first screening results.
“Secondary structure determination of conserved SARS-CoV-2 RNA elements by NMR spectroscopy”
In the interview of Dr. Schwalbe and Dr. Falko Busse of Bruker BioSpin you will find more information on how NMR is being used to research COVID-19 and the contributions of Bruker to this and other initiatives.
